Churchfield Food Store in Acton, West London, is a cosy Italian deli come cafe which serves scrummy toasted ciabatta sarnies at a cheap as chips price and strong hot coffee. This makes it one of my favourite places for some Mum escapism time. 4 Noise* Cancelling Foods (*read ‘Crying’)

OK, busted, this post is obviously a little tongue in cheek but I genuinely do believe that distraction is a good way of bringing down those cortisol levels induced by Miss EEE’s crying. It was while stress eating, mercilessly, through sleep training, that I stumbled on certain foods which are great for drowning out Miss EEE’s Pterodactyl like cries. Read on for my top 4!

10 Must Have Plan Ahead Snacks for Your Hospital Bag

Anyone who has given birth in the NHS will tell you, the Tea and Toast afterwards is the best god damn toast you will ever eat. That said, I made sure I had plenty of nutritious extras in my hospital bag to make sure I kept my Mama mind nourished over the first 24 hours with Miss EEE. I needed to feel that I was giving my body and mind what it needed at a time I knew would be high octane. Read on for my top 10 must have snacks for your hospital bag that I won’t be without next time.

Recipe – Oh So Easy Sweet Potato Wedges

This is so easy I’m not sure it even counts as a recipe! We make these for Miss EEE all the time. They are a great Baby Led Weaning option – to start off on their own or, as time goes on, as an accompaniment to the main event. The wedges are very squishy which makes them perfect! This recipe brings me food joy because it is so easy and nutritious for your little one.
